garymd Posted February 24, 2004 Share Posted February 24, 2004 Ed, I walked into an audio store in July, 1980 as they were taking a pair of zebrawood cornwalls out of the boxes to set up as floor models. After about 2 seconds of hesitation, I told them to put them back in the box, they're mine! I had never even heard a klipsch speaker before. It wasn't until I brought them home and hooked them up that I did. How lucky was I? I was only 20 years old. I just wanted huge speakers and the finish just grabbed me.
