fini
Is that fifty-six inches, or five to six inches, or five point six inches?

fini
I would make them out of the same material you Corns are made of (i.e. oak plywood, etc.) to match the finish. I'd recommend making a box, sealing it on the inside with caulk, filling it with sand, putting a top on it, then setting the Cornwalls on top.
