jac23 Posted June 28, 2001 Share Posted June 28, 2001 Hello, i am new here.. very impressive site - consider that it is all about speakers (klipsch based speakers). i never knew that they have so much fan's,but now it's good to know cause i also have their products as well. as my faithfull 16 years old luxman reciver died,i am thinking to purchase new model. it is needed for klipsch legend klf 30 speakers. and after scaning and reading much stuff - it will be either yamaha rvx 800,or marantz 7000. can i get any opinion from experianced forum members? before i quit,i have to say that i am 70% 2 channel audio and 30% home theatre person. and also that the yamaha is 30% cheaper then marantz for me. thank's for attention in advance. badbob Posted June 29, 2001 Share Posted June 29, 2001 WELCOME!!! About 6 months ago, I too, entered into the Klipsch habitat (KLF-20 / KLF C-7 / RCR-5) and could not be happier. I also am using the Yamaha RXV-800 as my 'nerve' center. And like you I listen to a lot of music (80%) and some HT (20%). I have been very pleased. The remote does take a little getting used to but other than that it's great. You will find that the "habitat" is populated with a lot of Denon owners. Do yourself a favor and, if possible, demo the exact equipment you are going to purchase. (An in-house demo would be the most desired.) ROCK ON!!!
