king_fisher Posted July 1, 2001 Share Posted July 1, 2001 This may be something simple but I now have 3 hours into this and still can't figure it out. I have a Denon 3801 AVR Gold with Klipsch reference, a pioneer DVD, an Echostar 7200 satellite receiver, and a JVC VCR.... When playing a DVD, I can't get the VCR to record off the DVD... The VCR will record off the satellite receiver and will play back through the Denon,but all I get when trying to record is the 'blue screen of the VCR. I'm 99% certain that all connections are right, is there a setting on the Denon that I'm missing, The owners manual doesn't really go into much on video.
