chris b
I am putting together a new HT system for a Family room 17x17 feet with cathedral ceiling. Want to do a cinema 10 with a RW 12 instead of RW 10. Is it worth it? Also do you reccomend Denon or NAD for 5.1 reciever?
Johnny dB
What's a cinema 10? IMO the RW12 is worth the extra $$ over the RW10. You might want to post in the Home Theater forum.
Darren
May want to post this to the Home Theater forum. Not sure how many of really HT experts wander into the 2-channel area.
chuckears
chris, I also have a 17x17 living room, with a 12'cathedral ceiling... I am using a Hsu 1220HO cylinder (internet-order only, similar to the SVS cylinders). It uses a 12" woofer, and I could not imagine it being smaller... in fact I would really like to have another, just to "de-localize" the bass. Definitely go with the 12... (At first I wondered if we had the same style house... then I saw that you also live in Springfield, but not Missouri...)
