BruinsFan
I'm trying to make the most of an acoustically poor room. You can read about it in the Architectural section. My question is given the choice (and these are your only options) between placing RFR3/5 in the ceiling over the listening area or RCW3/5 high and back of the listening area - which would be better? Would I really help my cause by making a 6.1 system using either the RFR or RCW setup? The Ceiling is 9 feet and the RCWs would have to be at least 7 feet up. I think the correct positioning for rears in a 5.1 inline but a few feet above the listeners ears - which is more like 5-6 feet - but please correct me if I'm wrong. I tried to talk my wife into using WDST series - but she wasn't keen on that. One last think - are there significant advantages to using either the RFR5 or RCW5s over their smaller conterparts in this configuration and if so what? thanks
mandi
enjoy looking at the female variety, especially when running in races. Nice to get right behind one, keeps you motivated for several miles.
