ironwoods
Hi, I am not familiar with your Denon's, but have some questions and a suggestion. Do you have the manuals? Do you have a center channel speaker, and is it wired correctly? Is the DVD player set to 5.1 output? Is the reciever in 5.1 mode? Is there a seperate volume control for the center channel? What connections are you using between the DVD and reciever? Please toss us a meatier bone.
WMcD
I'm no expert in this, not having gone to HT, and not trying to daisy chain two receivers. My guess is that you're feeding only surround channels into your main amp on the main channels. Something like this came up at Thanksgiving vacation at a hotel. The TV at the rental condo was set to listen to the secondary channel. Perhaps the previous renter was listening to Spanish on it. But during the big game, we initially were hearing only crowd noise while Howie and the bunch were talking football. As previously suggested, give us some more info about your hookup. Best, Gil
ironwoods
Gil, I'm gambling the 2200 is a multi-disk DVD player. My $0.02, anyways....Double or nothing?
