I am using a ksw12 I just don't feel i'm getting the bass I like,i'm thinkng about getting a SVS pb1-isd or HSU vtf-2 mk2 or a stf-2.I'm using an HK avr630 with RF 35's for my mains and RC 35 center and RB 5's for the rears. formica
Have you had a chance to read up on previous posts on here about these subs? They are popular choices... and definitely a step up from the KSW series. What budget are you looking to spend? Obviously the more you put into the sub now, the less apt you'll get upgraditis a couple of years from now. Preference here tends towards SVS while some other forums lean toward the HSU's. On average the SVS will dig a little deeper and louder than the HSU for the same money, but are still very similar. HSU are often referred to as more musical, most probably because they roll off a little higher. A third choice you may look into are the RW12 subs from Klipsch... given this is a Klipsch forum... Try the search command, lots of good info available... Rob
