yromj Posted April 12, 2004 Share Posted April 12, 2004 I got the Marantz SR7400 Friday, but didn't get a chance to hook it up until last night. I really like the sound of the unit. The remote is top notch, with a couple of small quirks, but nothing major at all. The biggest difference I noticed was the power to the sub. I had to turn the sub WAAAY down from where I had it before. The little bit of music I got to listen sounded very good, even at the lower volumes I was forced to use because my son was in bed in the next room. Going to run it some tonight. I'll provide more info as I go. So far I'm very impressed and think this unit should make more people's "short list" than it does.
