en1gmatikk
Hi, I already own a 4.1 Altech Lansing 641 PC audio system which comes with its own massive powered subwoofer. I was wondering if its possible to add a SWS subwoofer to this setup to make it a 4.2 system and how would it be connected, I believe it is soundcard to SWS to speakers? 007
You can do it, I have tested my SWS with a set of 621's. The 8inch woofer definitely adds death and punch to the system. The problem is finding a SWS nowdays.
2bigman3
I tried to add the SWS to my Boston Acoustics BA7500G (casue all it need was a little bass lift) through the "sound card to SWS to BA7500G" way. Even though the BA's still played music when connected this way, the SWS was not giving off any sound. I changed phase settings and still nothing. The SWS is working. Oh well, it gives me a reason to buy the Ultra's.
