Dan F Posted July 6, 2001 Share Posted July 6, 2001 The 5.1 system takes the six channels in and amplifies the signal, and feeds it to the five surround sound speakers and internal sub. There is a control unit that handles volume, on/off, subwoofer, front and back volume, and carries the aux in and headphone jacks.
