When I listen I like to sit in the sweet spot, 2 channel formats replayed with two speakers, no sub, analog-direct mode (aka pure direct), tone controls bypassed, video circuits dissabled. My system stays that way all the time so no futzing, just push play, sit down, relax, and listen. Enjoying the marvel of the mastered two channel soundstage.
