Silver plate would look great on the brass horn! Another question - Is the K-401 preferred over the K-400? I have a single La Scala with a K-400 and an extra K-401 I bought in '96 to use to make a mate for it....never did. I need to sell one horn, I thought about replacing the K-400 in the La Scala with the K-401 and selling the spare, along with the new La Scala x-over I got in new at the same time.
