Shock-Late
Just by curiosity, now that I'm using EV SM120A horns in my Scalas, i'm wondering if (as suggested in the beyma CP25 thread) using EV 1823M or 1824M instead of my old and beloved K55V could do any good. Also, wonder if i could use them without having to change anything to my existing AA x-overs?

CaptnBob
The 1823 is a lot more efficient than the K-55 - 6dB, maybe more. I tried one in an HSM I was playing with, and it was all I could hear - completely "buried" the tweeter and woofer. Comparing an Electro-Voice Sentry III, which uses the 1823 and the big sectoral horn, to a Cornwall, I found the Sentry seemed a bit less colored, but the Klipsch was more detailed and "imaged" better.
