waynewicks
My neighbor has a pair of RF7's for sale with pushed in dust caps on the low freq. drivers. He told me he contacted an "expert" who told him there would be no sonic differences in the speakers compared to new ones. Is that true? jdm56
Wayne, Don't sweat the dented dust caps. If the looks bother you, some people have sucked them back out with a vac.
Deang
No big deal, but it does look like crap. Sometimes the vacuum cleaner thing doesn't work. Another method is using duct tape, and pulling them out. I can't remember if the dust caps on the RF-7 are plastic or fiber -- but I've also used a very thin sewing needle, bent the tip slightly over with some needle nose pliers -- and just slid the needle in and pulled them out.
