overboosted
I have a RC-35 on top of my 34" widescreen tube and it is creating havoc with my screen. Is this not shielded?? Hard for me to believe. Is the RC-3II shielded??
milton10
I had the same thing happen with an SC-1 center speaker. For some strange reason, the problem mysteriously stopped about a week later. Maybe the TV and speaker adjust to each other?? Give it about a week to see what happens. Milton
cyclones22
I had the same thing happen as well, but with my quintet center channel in my bedroom HT. The weird thing, is that it never was a problem for a year. I never moved it, it remained right on top of my tv. When I bought my new HT system, I tore the old system down and disconnected and moved everything onto tables and whatnot for about a week. When I finally started putting all back together, I noticed the distortion on the top of my tv. I KNOW it was not there before, as I would have noticed it especially when switching through inputs as I would get a plain blue screen for no signal. That's actually how I noticed it to begin with. I have no idea what the heck caused that to happen, but for now I've got my center channel on top of a small 5" wood stand. I'd really like to just place it back on my tv again, so if anybody has any theories or suggestions, I would appreciate it as well. Thanks, cyclones22
