Biggus
I've got a 18'Wx23L' family room/home theater room with 7.5' ceilings. I have 4 RF-3II (2 front and 2 surround) and an RC-3II center channel. My question is the main seating position is approximately 19' from the front of my projection screen. What height should i elevate my rear surrounds (RF3-II's - in terms of the listeners ears and the center of the horn)? If I leave them on the floor they just seem to fire directly into my sectional sofa. Any input is apprecited. Mike
milton10
Most home theater setups request that the rear speakers placement be as high as possible in the room. Since your rear speakers are horn loaded, I would somehow point them down towards the listening environment. Presently, I have my rears slightly above ear level. It sounds just fine.
