fgklipsch
I got my subwoofer recently. Last week when I was listening to a CD and found it making noise at a particular song. I then conducted a low frequency test. At the frequency higher then about 88hz, the noise is not there. But when the frequency is low, the receiver's volumn is about -25 and up, and the volum on the sub is set at 7 or above, the noise appears. I could pin point that the noise is coming from the board at the back of the subwoofer where all the speaker connection pins and adjustment knobs are. This is a small board cut from the big board of the sub's back. Did any of you had this problem before? How did you get it fixed? Is it easy to take the small board off and see what is in there? Will this void my warranty? Thanks in advance for your help.
