The Legend Series is 3-way: Horn Tweeters, Horn Mids, and Woofer cones for Lows The Reference Series is 2-way: Single Horn for High and Mids, Woofer cones for Lows If this is correct, then the only way to get a 3-way with Horn Highs and Mids is either the Legend or the Heritage series, right? forresthump Posted July 28, 2001 Share Posted July 28, 2001 rm, you are correct sir. well, as long as u classify the powered towers as not 3-way (klipsch does but ddrake makes a good point on that) & as long as you're talking about models u can still buy new right now. those klf 30 get that extra slam from the 2-12" woofs vs the 2-10" of the 20s. both are excellent speaks - they have the same mid & tweet horns. some prefer the 20s. some slammers prefer the 30s ------------------ go forth & hump the world Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
