Your sub implmentation may give you more slam; but it has verified your amp is not that musical in full range. RF-7 does not need a sub to play music unless you listen to allot of pipe organ. ---------------- I agree that the RF-7 is quite good without a sub, and that Max G's point is of significant validity. My crude experiment with room diffusion has led me to beleive the problem is more with my room than my amp or the speaker running full range. It takes two of them to give you the potential of one RSW-12, which still can't keep up witht he 7's at the top of it's output potential.
