neomartic
I'm running my PC to my BRAND NEW MARANTZ SR5300 (that I'm so proud I finally bought). I'm looking for a sound card with optical out. These are the ones I've come across: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=29-123-001&DEPA=1 or http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=29-120-103&depa=1 Which do you think I should pick up? I appreciate your quick responses, as I would like to order one very soon. Once Again, Thanks for all your help guys!
myriadcorp
I guess you didnt see my post about marantz new receivers that are out. SR5500 SR7500 SR8500. Im not sure how much they upgraded the SR5300 to the SR5500. Its worth a check. Try a search on google or something to see whats different. amonteiro
When I was connecting my computer to my receiver I started this thread on avsforum to see if the quality of the sound care really made a difference if you are using a digital out. Might be of some interest tot you.
neomartic
myriadcorp, I checked out the 5400 and 5500, but for the price I paid for the 5300 it was worth it, and I didn't really need the added features in the newer models.
