Klipsch-daddy
I was looking at your profile and see you have the ksb 3.1 as mains and the ksb 1.1 as rears. I currently have the 3.1's and the ksc-c1 as a center channel. My surronds are white quintets. I hate them and want to get either the 1.1 or 2.1. How do they sound as rears? Do they look weird on the wall. Everything you can add will be appreciated. ------------------ My HTS: MAINS: KSB 3.1 CENTER: KSC-C1 REAR: WHITE QUINTETS SUB: KSW-12 TV: TOSHIBA THEATER VIEW 50" RECEIVER:KENWOOD VR-4080B DVD: SONY S-360 DVD PLAYER FOR SALE PINANNCLE WIDESCREEN CTR (105.00)
Nighthawk
That "Question for Nighthawk" scared me, LOL. Yep, I've got the 1.1's and they work great as rears. They look pretty good on the walls as a matter of fact. I have them positioned with the bottom of the speaker at about 6 feet from the floor and they work great. You might also look into the SS-1's (I think) as a true rear surround speaker match for the 3.1's, but the 1.1's do an excellent job and they look great as well. Anything else you need, just let me know ------------------ Tim "Nighthawk" Admire Mains: Klipsch KSB 3.1 Rears: Klipsch KSB 1.1 Center: Klipsch KSC-C1 Sub: Yamaha 8" Receiver: Yamaha HTR-5240
Klipsch-daddy
Well the main thing I am looking at is price. I just dont see putting 300.00 into the ss-1 compaired to 110.00 for the ksb 1.1. I dont think that the ss-1's will sound THAT much BETTER..
