Hipnotic_Tranz
I have the Midiland 8200's. I got 'em for $225 shipped to my door so needless to say, they were cheaper than the 4.1's at the time. They sound great, no doubt. The klipsch bass is punchier, however, some have complained of a limiter which I haven't experienced on my Midiland sub. They Klipsch also have tweeters, which to me, are too sharp sometimes, so I like the "softer" or "warmer" sound of the Midilands more. The only thing that (to me of course) the Klipsch have over my Midilands is the harder hitting sub. I don't have to deal with all the hiss and static MANY complain about here cause their digital. Hell, I can hook 'em up optically if I get a Live Drive II or GTXP. You can also use them in different enviorments where as the 4.1's are basically used for and only for the computer. You can hook the Midilands to your playstation, DVD Player, etc. Just more usefull overall I think and I got 'em for cheap so I had to snag 'em Here's a review of the Midilands that I did. I also did a comparison of the 2.400 and the 8200's. http://www.pcabusers.com/midiland8200/intro.html This message has been edited by Hipnotic_Tranz on 08-09-2001 at 07:26 PM
