Is this format for all series? I have a (newly acquired) pair of Forte II's that have the original Klipsch paper tag on them, and the S/N is formateed 100nnn. There is a field called W/O (work order, Week Of?) on there along with a model # and finish code...

Thanks for the info...

WO = Walnut Oil. It's the finish. And yes, the Forte serial number can be used in the decoder ring...

Nope, don't think so...The finish is Oiled Oak, and is shown on line 2 of the labels....

first line: P/N 09000531111 Assuming this is an internal model number

second : FII Oak Oil

third S/N 100xxx

fourth: W/O 20689

Appears these labels were printed on a slighly mis-aligned daisywheel or line printer since all the letters are missing their top 5-10%...

Connection panel/rear name plate has the Klipsch logo and Forte II

Paper is slightly yelloed and somewhat brittle...seems to be 15-20 years old, has the Klipsch logo/address etc printed on it...

Unfortunately, my digicam is not working tonite and can't upload a picture I'll try to upload one tomorrow...

Thanks
