theryugobuddy Posted December 5, 2004 Share Posted December 5, 2004 This audiophile compulsion is amazing--I get a new component, listen to it a few weeks, and then I'm on the lookout for the next means to improve the sound--again! And when so little can be earmarked for "sound quality in the home", it takes a lot of looking--(Thank God for eBay/Audiogon)-- I've got a question--I'm considering crossovers for my KG5.2s, but could I get a good kick in sound for a few bucks with a digital-to analog converter? I sold all my albums long ago, so my system plays CDS 90% of the time. Any great DACs I should look out for? The Adcoms on eBay can be had for so little money, but I don't want another component in the path if it doesn't dramatically enhance the sound-- I use all SS now-- B&K ST-202, B&K PT3, and Denon CDM-520 CD player-- Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
