I have a buzz coming out of the speakers and sub...it's just an electronic buzzing sound...nothing special...restarted the computer..did nothing...it kept buzzing even when the computer was being restarted...I've checked all the outside wireing so unless I missed something, help would be great. thanks and merry x-mas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you use cable internet check to make sure that the coaxial cable is snugly connected to the modem box. Based on the fact that they buzz even when the computer is down suggests to me that either the speaker system has a grounding problem or possibly there is something plugged into the same circuit that is putting noise on the line. Have you changed anything in your system lately? Do you have a dimmer switch for he lights in that room? They can cause noise in amps.
