divin11112000
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to mount my RS-35's. To get them on the sides of the seating position it has to go over my front door so I was thinking of ceiling brackets, although I'm not sure if Bestbuy brackets would be the way to go. I don't want to have them up on the brackets and have the bracket break. I've only found brackets to hold 8lbs, the speaker is 10lbs. Is there a bracket to hold them and position them downward toward the seating area or am I going to need to build some sort of shelf for them? Any advice/help would be appreciated
Steve_L
Glad you asked. I have the same question for a set of S-2s I need to mount at celing height on barn board. Anybody got any good experience with this?
colterphoto1
Omnimounts have all different sizes. May have to check their website or go to electronics wholesaler locally. Most stereo stores only carry their really small stuff, but they make mounts for TV's and computers as well. Michael
dcelov
Here is a pic of my recent install. I used an Omnimount 20.0 speaker mount and a section of 2x4 to mount my RS-3II rear surrounds. These mounts hold 20 pounds each. Dave
dcelov
Here is a front view. The Omnimounts have a ceiling adapter as well. Dave
