Besides, when talking Flagships, the current klipsch flagship is only 1/10th the price of the BW flagship - meaning, not even a fair comparison. jdm56 Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 If you think Klipsch RSW subs are expensive, check out some B&W 700 or 800 series subs! They are built like tanks, though. The smallest 700 series sub, the 10"/500Watt ASW700 ($1300) weighs in at 58 pounds and it's only 13.7"x13.4"x16.1"! The thing that impresses me about the better B&W subs (ASW675 and up) is that all the electronics are in a separate, sealed section of the enclosure. That just has to be a good thing, imho.
