-hed- Posted February 5, 2001 Share Posted February 5, 2001 Ok, right now I have my sub under my computer desk in the bottom right corner, with the port facing out towards me. I was wondering where the best place would be? I found out that if I walked over by my door there was a LOT more bass. Never realized how much it could change depending on the position until that, so under my desk is the only place I've tried. Thanks, Michael ------------------ Eh? The reason that there is more bass by your door is due to the sweet spots in your room. Every room has them. The sound nodes of the waves add up and double the amplitude. It has been said that if you face the port in a corner, it will also sound louder. Usually facing it at a 45° angle will make the most of it. Also, you will notice more bass under a desk as opposed to in the open Try different places to see what you like the best. Silver00Spike Posted February 5, 2001 Share Posted February 5, 2001 i made my woofer face a concrete walla at a 45 degree angle and FINALLY the bass can be heard ALL OVER MY ROOM, YEAH!!!!! one problem, i hear the air a lot more coming out of the exhaust pipe... any suggestions??? like a SILENCER???
