professczar
I finally got around to hooking up my Denon 2910 DVD player to my Panasonic AE 700 projector using an HDMI cable, only to encounter a major problem. Although I was able to obtain a signal, it was not stable. After a few minutes, the screen would flicker. At times, the image was lost completely only to be replaced by "snow." Sometimes the snow lasted only a moment or two before the signal was restored. At other times, the snow would last for a minute or more before resetting to the proper image. Can anyone here explain why I'm encountering this probelm? I'll confess that, owing to the layout of my room, I have to use a rather long HDMI cable (35 ft or so). Could this be the problem? If so, will I encounter similar issues running a component video cable that distance?
Bruinsrme
jsut found this NOTE: R1.05 Firmware update installed. R1.05 allows you to adjust the underscan on HDMI input and other improvements.
