sunprairie
Ok, I decided to go from 5.1 to 6.1. Running Chorus II center, LaScala mains, and Quartet surrounds, and liked it pretty well. I had an extra RC-7 laying around so I put it behind for a rear surround. My Denon 4802 says to run a single rear on left rear channel and it works just fine, but as near as I can tell, I'm picking up the same signal as the left main. All of a sudden the left main seems much louder than the right, but I think it's because of the added signal to the rear. Am I crazy or is this possible. If so, do I lower the signal to the rear to balance better, or lower my main left. Dazed and Confused. Here I had great hopes of more all around sound. tkot
have you reset your speaker levels get out that db meter and see how much adding that rear channel changed your set up jay
sunprairie
I did reset the speakers. Not with a meter, but by ear. Never have used a meter, but probably should. I'm just not happy with what I'm hearing.
