Adding old sub to center channel

I have an old SW8II that I am going to be adding to my center channel. At one time I had this done but forgot how to do this. Do you use the center out on the RCVR to the sub then the speaker output to the center channel. This was what I thought I did the first time before I moved. THX

Not exactly sure what you meen by adding it to the center channel.

I had an SW-8II and ran the left and right main speaker wires out from

the receiver to the sub. Then out from the sub to the front speakers.

If you are wanting to run it from the center channel speaker I guess

you can but why?

You will not believe how much a center sub will add to dialog and SFX. I hooked it up last night and it made a tremendous difference in the overall presence of an action movie. It will be interesting to see how regular TV will sound. I would recommend this to anyone that has a spare sub lying around.

So I take it your running you center speaker wire into your

sub then out to your center channel. I guess this will fill

out your center if it needs it.

That is exactly what I did. It makes the center more full. I was surprised by how much bass info is coming through. I set the center to large and ran the cutoff at 80 Hz through the sub.
