David Paul
I have had a KSW-12 sub for a little under 1 month now. It has worked beautifuly until today. I was listening to music with my sub and all of the sudden the sub just stopped working. I had read before that people have had some problems with the fuses in the sub so I checked that but the fuse appeared to be fine. It also isn't the surge protector that i am using since everything else that was running when the sub quit just kept right on running. I have no idea what the problem might be so if you guys could help me out it would be much appreciated. Thanks

boa12
dp, sorry but, other than trying a new fuse or power cord just to make sure, i'd take/send it back to the dealer assuming u got it new under warranty. though u may 1st want to call trey in tech support @ 1-800-klipsch. David Paul
Thanks. Do you know where i can find a fuse for the sub? I don't think that I am under warranty with my sub since i bought it at www.brandnamez.com so I am trying to do anything to make sure that I didn't waste my $300. boa12
dp, funny i looked into brandnamez warranties & they sent me an email saying that because they bought from an authorized dealer (who i have no idea) that they have a warranty from klipsch & any defective items can be returned to brandz for repair/replacement. who pays for shipping to them i don't know. don't know on fuse but make sure they're "slow blow". should be at most electronics supply places. try radio shack: http://www.radioshack.com/category.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F010%5F015%5F010%5F000&Page=1 maybe they have a store nearby u. i'd call any place 1st. David Paul
Thank you very much for all of your help. I have e-mailed klipsch, brandnamez, and have left a message at Klipsch tech support to give me a call back. Hopefully something can be resolved from this situation. You have been a great help. Thanks again

Klipsch Employees Trey Cannon Posted August 19, 2001 Klipsch Employees Share Posted August 19, 2001 Hey Guy, We have been having problems with the phone. I may not have gotten your mesg. I suggest you try a fuse from radio shack part #270-1022 this is a 1.5 amp slow blow. It should work fine If it blows, then you have a posiable bad amp. Good luck! ------------------ Trey Cannon Technical Support Klipsch Audio Technologies
