cyclonecj
Here's the funny part.... wait until you go to find the power switch. It doesn't have one!
customsteve01
Not something that I would even probably notice. For some reason I never turn off any of the DirecTV boxes in the house. Everything else gets turned off but some how I never bother to turn em off. I think its caus I like to be able to just turn the tv on and not mess with the DTV box. the best part is that my antenna is on the roof and I don't have to climb up there and add the coax cable and run it into the house. When they came out to change the amtenna to the oval one he tried to get me to mount it on a pole in the yard. NOPE, its staying on top of the house. cyclonecj
Sat receivers never really turn off anyway. It just turns off the RF outputs. However, it still must stay on to receive updates & channel lists, & make phone calls....& lets not forget the infra-red receiver that receives the remote command to turn back on!
