rear_naked_choke Posted March 3, 2005 Share Posted March 3, 2005 Can you use one of those Yamaha TSS receivers for Promedia 4.1's? I am using the speakers with my Xbox, PS2 and DVD player. I heard somewhere that you can't because the 4.1's are already powered and since the 4.1's are already amplified they would blow up or something. Forgot to mention, my 4.1 is actually the v2-400 Sub/Amp with the satellites upgraded to 4.1, and the control pod upgraded to the CP-1, so the connection from the speakers to the receiver are only the two wires ("Line" and "Surround").
