jason123
I just bought the Promedia 5.1 system two weeks ago, and I'm having some major problems. There is a high pitch squealing sound coming from my speakers constantly. I'm not sure if I somehow blew them out, but I don't think that is the problem. Is there an issue with interference from other electronics? I'm in a dorm, so there is no way I can move my speakers around to try somewhere else. It's not a problem with my computer either, because even when I turn the comp off the hissing sound is still there. Thanks, Jason
jason123
I'm just going to send the system back and get a new one, since technicaly support said they're probably defective and that they've acknowledged that on this forum. later
thatguybil
Jason I think i have the same problem as you. A set of my 2.1 squeal after I use them for about an hour or 2. How did you go about getting an RA number from these guys? Charlie

jason123
I contacted Amy (amy.platt@klipsch.com) for my issue. She's really helpful, and she'll put you in contact with a someone who will get you the RA information and what not...and Klipsch is sending a Fed Ex truck to my dorm to pick up the speakers. Can't beat that service. They said there isn't a known problem with the 2.1 or 4 systems, so make sure you tell Amy what exactly your problem is.
