KungFuNat Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 ive been searching for a new 5-disc changer transport to pair with an outboard dac.. the two players that have all the features that i want with digital output are the sony cdp-ce375 and the denon dcm-280... ive heard bad things about denons recent electronics. back in the 80s i used denon componants with great success.. ive also heard that sonys recent low-priced models havent had the most stellar record either. what do you guys think? id rather go with the denon, but im open to suggestions.. JackH Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 I've had both a 5-disc Sony and a 5-disc Denon cd player (actually a 5 disc DVD player). Both are good units. I liked the display on the Sony a little better but the Denon is a great unit. I bought the Denon to go with my AVR-3805 and have had no regrets with the purchase.
