126mhz
Hello All: I've needed to get a pair of tower style speakers for my very small study and I have found a brand new pair. I'm told by the dealer that they are 90db efficent which I will need because I will be driving them with a "New" (to me completely redone) Scott 299D. I can pick them up for $425.00 in their sealed boxes. What do you guys think? Thanks as always, Bill Woodward
Colin
probably sound like cone speakers, why not get horns?
126mhz
Any suggestions, seriously. Space is a serious consideration. They can only be about nine inches wide. It's a very small study. I love horn loaded speakers, but,...space.
Dflip
http://www.paradigm.com/Website/SiteParadigmProduct/PReviews/Paradigm/SoundVision/SV_Legend_CC70_ADP170.pdf http://www.paradigm.com/Website/SiteParadigmProduct/PReviews/Paradigm/SoundVision/S%26V_Legend_CC270_ADP170_PDR.pdf http://www.paradigm.com/Website/SiteParadigmProduct/PReviews/Paradigm/QuebecAudio/QA_Legend_CC270_ADP_PDR.pdf, ADP-170 Absolutely remarkable! Performance Series speakers are budget-priced, but their amazing sound will make you think you spent hundreds more! This is what I could find on the paradigm website. I have a pair of 9S upstairs and they are very nice sounding speakers. They are not Klipsch, but a good cone speaker at a good price. The wire inside and crossovers are nothing to write home about (thin wire, good quality caps and lightweight inductors)
126mhz
Thanks Dflip, just in the nick of time. I wanted to get some more information on them and for the money it seems like they'll be a good fit for me. Regards, Bill Woodward
