montegro23 Posted March 27, 2005 Share Posted March 27, 2005 I just bought the Denon 2805 and i love it..i love that AL24 processing..but im really stumped on what would be the best setting for home theater and music..this speaker configuration EQ setting and frequency setting has all got me totally confused lol...please someone tell me whats the best settings for this reciever..Im running RF 35's all the way around with a RC35 center Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jroc Posted March 28, 2005 Share Posted March 28, 2005 Have you done the auto setup with the supplied microphone? Once that is done, you can just select the AUTO surround mode. The receiver will then select the correct surround sound mode based on the source of the audio. Of course you can always select the mode that you think sounds the best. On mine, I really like the Dolby ProLogicIIx cinema mode for watching DVDs and regular TV. If a DVD has a DTS track, that's what I select on the DVD and the receiver automatically selects that surround mode. For two channel audio such as CD's, I put it in Pure Direct mode, and for sports I really like the 7CH stereo mode. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
