jtack Posted April 2, 2005 Share Posted April 2, 2005 I have a harmon kardon avr 7000. I am trying to get it to automatically switch between analog and dolby digital. When I am watching an analog signal from my cable box and then go to a channel that is encoded with dolby digital it does not automatically recognize the digital source and make the swtich...I have to go into the HK menu and change the output from analog to digital...then when I want to go back to a regular channel like local news, etc I have to change back from digital to analog. My brother has a lower model HK and his switches from analog to digital whenever it recognizes a digital signal is being sent. My cable box is a digital cable box...not a digital satelite box.
