Jackalope
I have a pair of Forte's that I bought in the late '80s, but they do not have a passive radiator. However, I can't find any information on this. Does anyone know what the deal is ? Thanks, Jack
Jackalope
Nevermind......they aren't Forte's, they are Chorus......I haven't seen them for a while.
Olorin
Do you have any pictures you can post? A back, a close-up of a terminal cup, and a front with the grill off would be especially helpful. EDIT: LOL, we were writing at the same time. I thought that might actually be a Chorus.
DrWho
The original Chorus has no passive, but had two front-firing ports. The chorus II has a passive radiator on the back. If you have the Chorus II and no passive radiators (aka, big hole in the back), then I would recommend sealing up the hole and just installing the two ports on the front. It'll be your easiest and cheapest fix. There really isn't any differece in the sound quality, but the front-firing ports allow for easier speaker positioning.
