SuperShady1
okay I have had onkyo for too long now, I think I purchased my first stuff at Pacific Stereo back when, but I have always had Klispch since college days. After coming back from my first CES show, I decided to toss the rear- projector, and have ordered the Optoma H31 and a 92 inch Vutek screen, I have a Denon 2900 DVD, Heresey IIs for L&R. Center I have the KT LCR, and in the rears KG 2.2s, I also have an energy sub 12 inch. Now I have an onkyo receiver, and I think this is where I need to make the change. I have heard that there are warmer brands that would be best suited for Klipsch and onkyo is not one of them. I have heard Rotel and I Marantz are warmer brands?? I do not want to spend a lot for seperates, and was thinking of a receiver with the basics, DTS, DD ES and I do not plan to go further than 5.1. Please help all ideas will be much appreciated, where to buy would help also. Thanks SuperShady
krustyoldsarge
You might want to give some of the NEW Yamaha receivers an audition. Be darned sure you get the (component) video connections right on any receiver you hook up or you'll fry a chip(s)! Now I've started the "Yammies are bright" thing again!
