Rsoxfan Posted May 16, 2005 Share Posted May 16, 2005 I recently picked up a Virtual Surround sound reciever. It has speaker outputs on it, but it sounds horrible when i run my forte's off of it. So I was wondering if I could run the Virtual reciever thru my Onkyo 2-channel reciever and still have the virtual surround sound? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
DTLongo Posted May 17, 2005 Share Posted May 17, 2005 I'm not sure we understand your question. What receiver do you have (make and model), and are you sure your speakers are hooked up in phase? If your receiver permits, switch it to straight stereo and see how it sounds. If it seems OK in straight stereo, then the problem may be in the virtual surround circuitry.
