janko10
i wanna get new headphones to go with my 4.1's when they come out. the sennheiser hd580's are supposed to be pretty damn good, but they 300 ohms of impedence, so everybody says i need a headphone amp to go with them. amy, or anybody else, can the headphone jack on the new 4.1's handle these or should i get a headphone amp? thanks! Seb
the jack will handle these but you will get better performance with a headphone amp, like always.
Hofy
If you are going to be getting new headphones and dont want to get a headphone amp check out the Grado line of headphones. The SR60s start at $70 and are 32ohms. c> ------------------ Hofy's Duct Tape Mounting System Support hofmonstr@rocketmail.com c> I am NOT ProMedia Tech Support promediatech@klipsch.com 888-554-5665c>
Gluegun
I'd suggest the Sennheiser HD495. Higher quality than the SR-60's, more comfy, easy to drive, but slightly lower sound quality than the SR-80's. ------------------ "Feh."
