dougdrake2 Posted September 6, 2001 Share Posted September 6, 2001 Gold pin connectors will connect to the devices you mention, but be aware that the holes in the binding post will cause you to insert the pins at a 90 degree angle. Banana plugs might be a better choice, at least for the Denon. I don't think the Denon binding posts are spaced correctly to accept the dual-plug style so you may need to get the individual banana plug style. Others on this board recommend, for an inexpensive product, Phoenix Gold banana plugs from www.partsexpress.com. If you use banana plugs on the SS-1s, you'll have a problem if you are wall mounting them, as the plugs will stick out too far to permit the speakers to hang correctly against the wall. I'd go with bare wire on all connections if you can fit it (unless you plan to be disconnecting/reconnecting the speaker wires all the time). RCA connectors will not work.
