Petrol
from time to time I want to be able to send a hugh playlist from my PC to my reciever. yes, I know, mp3 doesn't have the 'best' quality sound but it's great to be able to save / load up a 200 song playlist for parties where 'critical' listening takes a backseat to rock&roll. any way, should I just plug into the headphone jack and send it via patch cord to one of the reciever's inputs? toddvj
I'm not sure what a "Hugh" playlist is, but the way you've suggested will work just fine. If your soundcard has a SPDIF connection, you could use that as well.

theryugobuddy
A good sound card run into a digital-to-analog converter then to your amp works beautifully. The D-to-A will dramatically improve the music quality-- I've got an Adcom GDA-600 off eBay that works--it reduces flutter alot-- and gives crappy computer sound a boost--
