scriven
Doc, Your problem is not just with AC. This all holds for DC. Current is measured in amps. Watts are a measure of power. In the following P is power, I is current V is voltage and R is resistance. P = V * I = I^2 * R = V^2 / R Edit: Awkward wording, I need a proofreader! scriven
We are still left with the question about 2 drivers producing 6dB more then one driver. (Or at least I am!) I know on the electrical side adding another identical driver in parallel will consume twice the current and therefore twice the power, which is a 3dB increase. So how do we get 6dB more SPL? That sounds like violating conservation of energy to me. (And I know that's a Bozo no-no!)
