sjones11
I'm trying to unscrew these speaker stands that came attached with the satellites, but 2 of them were so tight that I stripped the head on the screw, so a philips screwdriver is useless now. I tried using pliers but unfortunately the orientation of the stand prevents that. Any ideas? Thanks! -Shawn ------------------ -Shawn
Dugie
Drill it out. Got a Dremel or Ryobi mototool? (I realize this post is sixteen years old.)
justin_tx_16
Get a reverse drilling screw.. wrong name i know... just go tto your local hardware store and ask if they have a device that attaches to your drill to drill out a stripped screw, it will turn counter clockwise INTO the other screw, once it hits the bottom of the screw it will start to turn the old screw sounter closckwise and remove it. good luck! ------------------ -justin I am an amateur, if it is professional help you want email Amy or call her toll free @ 1-888-554-5665
