Constantine Soo
Hi Everybody, webzine Stereo Times posted my Klipschorn review, which may provide different angles on getting the best out of the magnificient K-horns for a few of us. The article is at: http://www.stereotimes.com/Klipschorn_Speaker_System.htm . I'm working on a review with the Decware SE84C driving the K-horns. MacKlipsch
Sooster, Thanks for the review. It's been posted here a few times. What sub would you match with K-horns?
Constantine Soo
MacKlipsch, thanks for reading. The K-horn's bass is good enough for me. If a subwoofer is desired, I can think of the Paradigm Servo 15, which has been recommended highly by folks with Apogee speakers. eglinski
Hi Constantine, I was pleased to see and read your review of Klipschorn it seems to be ignored often by "high end" audio experts and reviewers Right On! When I first heard Klipschorn 20 yrars ago I was blown away by the bass I had and used the tone controls back then Since I upgraded to seperates without tone controls the bass seemed to be lacking punch i was used to I bought a sunfire true subwoofer and was satisfied Iv'e since upgraded to a Cary Audio Sli80 sig. and Bag End Infra-sub running the k-horns full range and love it! Idont know if Im spoiled or not but the sound just dosent sound impressive anymore with the sub not on also. I know the bass is there on Khorns and ifI could boost or equalize it could knock me out Ididnt want to get an EQ because I didnt want to possibily degrade the rest of the signal Oh well thats my story anyway I would definetly reccomend Bag End Infra Sub 18 to go with K-horn for music. keep posting Ed
