Nicu
A friend of mine has an RF-7 with a defective tweeter and found a damaged RC-7 with intact tweeter. He'd like to swap the tweeters, are there any internal adjustments needed to be made to the RC-7 horn to work in an RF-7? Thanks, N
Anakin26
As far as I know the horns in the RC-7 are equal to the ones in the RF-7s. Actually I am sure. Just change it out. But make sure you get the connections right. On of the terminals on the horn is colored red. Nick
Petrol
everything I have seen indicates that they are the same driver as well
colterphoto1
That is a 60x90 degree horn. Make certain that it is oriented correctly when reinstalling. It might be a perfect square, in which case it could be installed in an alternate orientation. Michael
MrMcGoo
There is one letter difference in the part number. I supect that the difference is very small, but tech support at Klipsch may be able to tell you the nature of the difference. The RC-7 is crossed lower at 1950 Hz versus the 2200 Hz on the RF-7. Nicu
I helped my friend swap the horns and they are identical. The horns have stickers with the part numbers on them and the part numbers for the RF-7 and RC-7 horns are the same. N
